We didn't have a regular run-of-the-mill wedding cake. Nope. We had our cake hand-made by my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. It was so well done that I couldn't believe these two made it, it looked like it came from a professional bakery. Our cake was made with love, what more could we have asked for?
Cutting the cake was a special moment as well. It's one of those cliched wedding "events" (along with the bouquet toss, etc.); it was so fun to do this with Hubby, to actually be the one doing all the things that we've seen others do over, and over (and over) again!
